Summer Camp

The Middle Tennessee Council summer camp program offers Scouts a week-long camp experience where Scouts can earn merit badges, learn and practice their Scouting skills, follow the Patrol method and work towards advancement while having a fun time!

The documents and forms listed below are some of the common documents that you may wish to refer to for camp.

  • Class Schedule

    This is the list of classes offered at camp and the blocks that they will be offered.

  • Class Pre-requisites

    This is a list of requirements for various classes that will not be completed at camp.  Scouts will need to complete these requirements outside of camp.

  • Daily Schedule

    The planned schedule of daily activities for the week at camp.

  • Provisional Camper

    Want to go to camp but can't go the same week as Troop 4?  Complete the provisional Scout form and the staff will put you with a Troop during the week you can attend.

  • Camp Craig Map

    Map of all of the places you need to know to get around Camp Craig!

  • Camp Staff

    Interested in a summer job?  Enjoy working with other Scouts?  Then Summer Camp staff might be the right job for you!  The Middle Tennessee Council Camps provide a great camping experience for thousands of Scouts each year. This success of the Summer Camps requires that the Council hires the best individuals that Scouting has to offer. ARE YOU UP TO THE CHALLENGE?

  • Camperships

    Camperships are available to Scouts that may not have sufficient funds for Summer Camp.  Click on this link to get more information about eligibility and how to apply.

  • Dietary/Allergy Form

     Complete this form if you have any special dietary needs or food allergies.

  • Boxwell Reservation Map

    Map of the entire Boxwell Reservation.

  • Directions to Boxwell

    Are you new to Boxwell Reservation?  Get directions to the reservation here.

  • Dolphin Society Award

    The Dolphin Society Award is available to scouts who have completed various aquatic activities.  Complete the form and submit to purchase the Dolphin Society belt buckle and/or patch.

  • Second Week Camper Program

    Scouts who choose to spend more than one week of camp at Boxwell can also take advantage of the Second week Camper opportunity.

  • Mental, Emotional, and Social Health (MESH) Declaration

  • Refund Request

    If a Scout has paid fees for camp but is unable to participate in camp, Scouts can request a refund.  100% refund if submitted before April 15.  50% refund if submitted by May 15.  Refunds will not be possible after May 31.

  • SCUBA Liability Release Form

    Form must be completed for any SCUBA activities.

  • Range and Target Activities (Shooting Sports) Release

    This form must be completed by any youth who has an interest in participating in any shooting sports activities (Archery, Muzzleloader, Rifle, Shotgun, Tomahawk).  If taking a shooting sport class the form MUST be submitted.
